ERG是母紅血球病病毒E26轉(zhuǎn)換序列（ETS）轉(zhuǎn)錄因子的基因家族成員之一，它在淋巴細胞和內(nèi)皮細胞表達，調(diào)節(jié)內(nèi)皮細胞凋亡和血管生成。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)ERG在良性和惡性的血管腫瘤都有表達。
用于檢測甲狀腺濾泡癌常見的PPARγ基因斷裂及與其他基因的易位。
